We attend the 7th ExpoSolar Colombia, a fair specialized in photovoltaic and other renewable energies that gathers some of the biggest professionals in the national scene.

ExpoSolarColombia 2023 took place on October 4th-6th in Medellín. The event has been a meeting point for companies and manufacturers, scientists, politicians and other professionals that work in the renewable industry, with a clear focus in photovoltaic power. During the fair, developments in the Colombian industry were discussed, as well as proposed solutions, and challenges faced in the last year.

Óscar Berrío, country manager in Enerland Group Colombia, has attended this ExpoSolar along with other two members of our Colombian team, Rafael Rodríguez and Carolina Sandoval. They consider their participation as a positive experience, “building strategic alliances with both clients and providers to take the projects forward, and also following the progress made by the photovoltaic market, not only by local businesses but overseas companies as well”.

The expo has been held in the International Center for Conventions and Expositions Plaza Mayor Medellín, with more than 300 exhibitors and visitors from over 35 countries. Apart from the fair, and at the same time, the 7th International Congress on Photovoltaic Energy has been held. This year, the main theme of the congress has been the figure of the installer.

Enerland Group has been growing in Colombia for six years now (2017). Two new photovoltaic plants have been completed this year: apart from Canal del Dique, the two additions have been La Tolúa (26,19 MW) and Tierra Linda (12,71 MW). Both of them have been supplying clean energy to the land since April. With these new plants, Enerland Group has over 100 MWp built in Latin America.
