Enerland Group has participated in the latest event of SER Colombia, the Renewable Energy Association of the country. The 7th Renewable Latam Meeting and Fair was held between April 17-19 in Barranquilla, where numerous agents of the energy industry gathered.

 

The Centro de Eventos del Caribe Barranquilla hosted multiple personalities from the renewable energy sector, from researchers to entrepreneurs, associations and manufacturers, for the celebration of this annual meeting, that has already reached its 7th edition in Colombia.

The event offered various talks and exhibitions, as well as a fair for companies, with the aim of fostering an environment that promotes the development of green energy in the country. Along with SER Colombia, the event has been organized by the World Energy Council Colombia, with the support of FISE Expo and the Sustainable Energy Cluster of Medellin and Antioquia.

Carolina Sandoval, Sales Manager at Enerland Colombia, has emphasized that “the participation in this important meeting puts Enerland ar the forefront of the energy sector, which helps us to promote the development of photovoltaic industry. It also allows us to stimulate the electricity market of the country, contributing to the matrix from non-conventional energy sources. On the other hand, it is a meeting where we can approach the main actors in the renewable energy sector in Colombia. This way, Enerland contributes with projects in development and construction lines for the country and the rest of Latin America”.

The company accumulates more than 100 MW in photovoltaic projects in the country: in 2023 alone, Enerland comissioned 5 plants for different clients in Colombia. PV plants La Mena, Honda 1, Caimán Cienaguero, La Tolúa and Tierra Linda have been built with the additional application of social responsibility measures. These include the creation of local employment, plantations, and donations of materials.

Enerland Group continues its consolidation in the American continent, where it has installed more than 400 MW in total, distributed in countries such as Colombia, El Salvador, Mexico or Costa Rica.
