On May 16, Enerland Group held the fifth edition of its in-house tournament in Padel Zaragoza. The competition included two categories, Gold and Silver, to ensure that all workers could enjoy it.
During the 5th Enerland Padel Tournament, held in Padel Zaragoza, five double teams of employees participated in the Gold category. In this category, the most experienced players from Enerland Group in Spain compete each year for the trophy awarded for the edition. This 2026, the Gold champions were Pablo Lastanao (O&M Engineer) and Victor Ruiz (Head of Wind & Storage); both players had previously won first place in tournaments alongside other teammates (Pablo in 2024, and Victor in 2023).
The final match, played against Maxi Pérez and Ignacio Nieto (both from the Development department), stood out for its high level if play and served as the perfect finale to another succesful day of competition at Padel Zaragoza. In the Silver category, Sandra Pascual took first place, winning more games than her teammates for the second consecutive year.
As usual, the event lasted all morning, with a great atmosphere in both categories. Just as in the fourth edition, all pairs were randomly assigned. This approach gives all employees an even chance to win, and it also strengthens bonds between departments. After the tournament, several colleagues joined the players for a barbecue, bringing another memorable day to a close.

Enerland, commited to sports
Enerland’s team in Zaragoza wore the blue shirt once again this May for the Atades Solidarity Race, held on May 10. Every spring, our colleagues in Zaragoza take part in initiatives such as this charity race or the in-house padel tournament. In addition, the 8th Corporate Tournament in Padel Zaragoza begins, in which a group of employees representing Enerland competes every year. This reflects our team’s constant commitment to health, sports, and all their positive values. Thank you all for your efforts!
