Enerland Group attends the “Sustainability and Society: the perfect pairing” seminar, organized by the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations in Aragón (CEOE Aragón).

 

Las September 27th, Enerland Group attended the event, that gathered several businessmen and businesswomen from different corporate areas. The schedule, planned with the support of Sesé Foundation, consisted on two round-table discussions during which professionals from different fields of work shared their experiences about sustainable social projects. After the welcome speech delivered by CEOE Aragón Vicepresident, José Ángel Subirá, and the General Director of SMEs and Freelances from the Aragón Government, Ana Sanz Campos, the first half of the seminar began, titled “How does corporate sustainability affect our society”.

This first segment highlighted the need for some impetus on sustainability in a strategic  and transversal way to every department in each business, planning measurable and realistic goals to succeed on the proposed actions. One of the unanimous conclusions reached was the relevance of both cooperation and team work in making a common plan known to all employees.

The second round-table discussion was focused on corporate experiences. The main idea shared was the need to learn and be adaptive in order to achieve social responsibility goals. Likewise, the relevance of goals and acknowledgements was highlighted as a way of proving the evolution and improvement made by the companies, as well as their annual efforts.
