Enerland Group, Spain-based multinational headquartered in Zaragoza, completed construction of three photovoltaic plants in Portugal in 2023. They have an aggregate capacity of 58,5 MW and almost 70 hectares of modules throughout the country.

 

Enerland Group, Spain-based multinational headquartered in Zaragoza, completed construction of three photovoltaic plants in Portugal. PFV Soure, with 23 MWp and located in Soure, Coimbra, has recently been connected to the grid, and it is expected to produce 35.510 MWh of 100% renewable energy. That is the equivalent to the energy needed to supply 7.703 Portuguese households and represents 12.865 tons of CO2 emissions avoided per year.

38.808 modules were installed for the execution of this photovoltaic plant, located over 30 hectares. According to the financial details of this project, 78 professionals from local businesses were hired in order to support the social development of the area.

Next projects for Enerland in Portugal

 

In addition to PFV Soure, Enerland Group has other two photovoltaic plants which also completed construction in 2023 and are waiting to be connected at the beginning of this year. Additionally, maintaining its consolidation in the country during 2024, the team is developing a portfolio of projects that reaches 780 MW.
