Construction begins on Pitarco, our new solar park in Spain. Located in the town of Muel, Zaragoza, this new solar plant will generate a power of 61.91 MWp.
Everything is ready for the construction of our new project. Pitarco, will be our new solar park in Spain. In addition, our largest execution will become the Iberian Peninsula. Located on an area of land of more than 100 hectares, adjacent to the Pitarco Industrial Park, in the municipality of Muel, Zaragoza, this solar plant will connect a power of 47.8 MWn to the grid.
On this occasion, we have developed all the phases of the project, from the previous studies to its start-up. Pitarco, will be executed in EPC ( Engineering, Procurement and Construction ) mode. Through this type of agreement, we offer our clients the turnkey service for the integral construction of the project.
Pitarco photovoltaic park
The Pitarco solar park will produce approximately an average annual energy of 117,804 MWh. This renewable energy is equivalent to the electricity needed for the consumption of more than 38,500 Spanish homes.
On the other hand, taking into account the technical figures of the project, for the execution a structure with two-row trackers in 1V configuration will be installed. Subsequently, the project will be completed with the installation of more than 114,000 bifacial photovoltaic panels, 213 string inverters and 10 Transformation Centers. In addition to the construction of the park, Enerland will also carry out the integral execution of a 15/45 kV lifting substation, from which a 45 kV underground line will start through which we will connect to the electrical power distribution network. .
It is estimated that more than fifty workers will participate in this new solar park. In addition, for the execution of the project, local companies have been hired in order to support the local development of the area.
Developments in Spain
Spain is a country with great potential in terms of photovoltaic energy development. Its geographical position allows it to receive a high degree of average solar radiation throughout the year.
