We present our new photovoltaic park in Argentina. Awarded through the Renew Mini Round 3 Program, it will be our first project in the country.

We continue our expansion with the San Martín Project. After more than a decade of activity in the American continent , this solar project is our new photovoltaic park in Argentina. At the end of 2019, through the Renovar Mini Round 3 Program , Enerland was awarded this project . After her, at the beginning of 2020, the contract was signed under the modality of PPA or Power Purchaise Agreement. Through this type of agreement, it is established that one party will generate the electricity while the other agrees to buy the electricity generated during a set period of time. On this occasion, the defined time period exceeds 20 years. On a land area of more than 24 hectares located in the province of Mendoza, the San Martín solar plant will generate a peak power of 13.6 MWp. In addition, it will have a single axis tracker structure and 540W modules. Based on the project execution dates, it is currently in the development phase. On the other hand, regarding its launch, it is expected to be effective by the end of 2022.

Enerland in America

Along with this new project in Argentina, there will already be 15 Enerland projects in America. Since we discussed our commitment to the continent more than a decade ago, we have not stopped growing. Currently, we already have more than 318,600 MWh of energy produced in America and we hope to continue increasing our figures. Photovoltaic solar energy is a clear bet. The development of this type of renewable energy not only makes electricity more accessible but also more affordable. In an increasingly globalized and technology-dependent world, it is increasingly necessary to meet the growing demand for light through energy derived from non-polluting sources.

Update 11/12/2021

Through resolution 1090/2021 of the Ministry of Energy, the San Martín solar park is authorized to enter the electricity market.

On November 12, 2021, Enerland Group Argentina obtained authorization for the connection point to enter the Argentine electricity market. In 2019, it was confirmed that the San Martín solar park met all the required requirements. Once built, the Enerland San Martín Photovoltaic Solar Park will be able to add 10 megabytes to the electrical system from the energy generated with its panels by connecting to the transformer station.
