For this reason, predictions about the future of photovoltaic solar installations worldwide in 2022 have been compiled:
- More than 200 GW of solar energy will be installed
- At the end of this 2021 there was a price increase of the modules. This was due to the strong demand that there was that year. This time, they are expected to fall again as output rises, easing the supply crunch.
- Solar power and installed storage will double. The largest markets will be China and the United States.
