Enerland Group attends the Future Energy Summit 2023 (#FES2023), an event that brings together numerous leaders of the energy sector in Colombia.

Last week, on October 24th and 25th, the Future Energy Summit 2023 (#FES2023) was held. It gathered more than 5.000 visitors in the JW Marriot Hotel, in Bogotá (Colombia). Over 300 speakers attended the event. There, all the main players in both the public and private sector analyzed the energy transition in Latin America and Europe.

Ultimately, the sector is growing by leaps and bounds, and a total of 900 MW in projects have already been approved in the region. With this relevant numbers coming in 2024, apart from working with solar panels and trackers, there are also great prospects for battery implementation in new projects.

As Enerland Group, our colleagues José Alfambra, Area Manager LATAM & Spain, Óscar Berrío, country manager in Enerland Group Colombia, and Carolina Sandoval, commercial director in the country, attended the forum with the goal of creating synergies with different professionals in the sector. “This event allowed us to catch up with the energy market in our country, but not only that, it also worked in terms of establishing new alliances with suppliers that will help us in our next projects. We hope that we can come back next year as well”, highlighted Carolina.

About Enerland Group Colombia

Our activities in Colombia started back in 2017, that same year we opened our subsidiary there. Since then, we have been working on different solar plant development projects.

Moreover, two new photovoltaic plants have been completed this 2023: apart from Canal del Dique, the two additions have been La Tolúa (26,19 MW) and Tierra Linda (12,71 MW). Both of them have been supplying clean energy to the land since April. With these new plants, Enerland Group has over 100 MWp built in Latin America.
