Today we are proud to present our new photovoltaic park in Arjona, Bolívar. Through the development carried out by our Enerland Colombia headquarters, the works of our new solar installation in the country begin.

This new photovoltaic park in Colombia is destined to pour energy in self-consumption mode. It will occupy an area of land of approximately 13 hectares. Located in the city of Arjona, Bolívar, Colombia, this installation, carried out on the ground, will generate a power of 5.5 MWp-4.5 MWac. In addition, it will produce an average annual energy of 11.3 GWh. The installation has Longi 450Wp modules, Huawei inverters and a 2V Gonvarri trackers structure.

This type of installation allows our clients to generate considerable savings on their electricity bill. In addition, they contribute to the development of renewable energies promoting a more sustainable future. Photovoltaic solar energy avoids the emission of tons of CO2 into the atmosphere compared to the generation of other types of energy as well as the emission of noise pollution. Specifically, this new photovoltaic park in Colombia contributes to the objectives established by the UN in its 2030 Agenda. Thanks to it, the emission of more than 38,600 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere is avoided, as well as the reduction in electricity costs , which makes it more affordable.

Our subsidiary Enerland Colombia has been operating since 2017. During this period of time, have carried out numerous photovoltaic projects of development, construction, operation and maintenance in the country. In the same way, work has been done both on projects for self-consumption and on solar installations for the sale of energy to the grid.

Colombia, at an energy level, had always been a country whose main source of electricity came from non-renewable . With more than 50 million inhabitants , climatic and environmental changes make this situation not last forever. In the middle of the last century, an energy transition to renewable alternatives and clean for the planet began to be applied to balance this balance.
