Last Friday, Enerland’s Group central office team in Zaragoza visited Tellus and Mitra PV plants. There, the employees were able to learn about the status and operation of the photovoltaic project.
Bringing a renewable project to fruition is a complex task, a long journey involving hundreds of employees. At Enerland Group, these tasks can go through phases as diverse as development, engineering, construction and maintenance, and can last for years. Therefore, every day, also from our offices, our colleagues work to make sure that our photovoltaic plants and installations become a reality. Employees from administration, legal, IT, logistics, engineers, technicians and specialists drive our projects, coordinating and providing information and fundamental resources for each project.
On August 23rd, part of our team at the central office in Zaragoza had the opportunity to see the results of all those efforts in front of the computer screens and the telephone. A field trip that allowed our colleagues to observe how the photovoltaic plants work, as well as the progress made at the construction site of Tellus and Mitra, each 6.4 MWp. During the visit, which was divided into two groups for safety reasons, our colleagues were able to answer their questions and learn more about the engineering and constructing process. Daniel Gallizo, project manager, and Andrés Arcos, site manager, guided both teams throughout the tour. José Alfambra, area manager at Enerland in Spain and Latam, participated in the explanations to the administration team, providing more details about the operation of the plants.
About the plants
Both photovoltaic plants, located in the province of Zaragoza and fully developed by Enerland, started construction last spring, as we announced at the time. The construction works have so far generated approximately 85 direct jobs, and more than 150 indirect jobs in the area. Both plants are more than 20 hectares total: Tellus has 10 ha, an Mitra has 12 ha. The two plants combined will produce, once commissioned, 12.8 MWp of green energy. More than 24,000 MWh per year that will join the rest of Enerland Group’s portfolio in Spain.
