Enerland collaborates with the Food Bank

This month, Enerland collaborates with the Zaragoza Food Bank. Thus, we started a new solidarity practice for World Food Day, which was celebrated on October 16.

On October 29, Enerland collaborated with the Banco de Alimentos de Zaragoza . This initiative arises as a result of World Food Day, whose origin arises with the aim of seeking balance in meals, but also to end hunger in the world. With the pandemic, thousands of people have found themselves in a vulnerable situation. That is why at Enerland we wanted to do our bit to help our community. Together with the Food Bank of Zaragoza we launched the campaign “For a future without hunger”. The collection lasted 11 days, in which our colleagues collaborated by donating a large amount of food that we hope will help those most in need. Our goal is that this initiative does not remain a one-off action, we want all employees to participate actively every year . Not only because of the pandemic, but because of the rest of the people who have always been in moments of vulnerability. On this occasion, the collection was a success and we could not be happier with the participation of our colleagues from Zaragoza, Spain. We thank the Food Bank of Zaragoza for helping in the management and we hope to collaborate again in future donations.
