Specialists from Russian Space Systems (RKS) are developing a Solar Power Plant in Space (SKES), the goal of which is to ensure the regular supply of alternative electricity to hard-to-reach regions of the Earth. In addition, it can also transfer power to other spacecraft in orbit and help in emergencies. These projects often make us wonder if the idea of having solar plants in space is actually possible or is it only possible in the cinema, where all inventions come true. In any case, at Enerland we are committed to innovation and progress. We can’t wait for the day when it launches into space. In Spain, specifically at the Autonomous University of Madrid, they have created a specific chair for the study of agro-steppe systems and their conservation. From the Enerland Group we applaud this initiative and the efforts of all researchers to generate knowledge regarding the preservation of biodiversity in solar installations. Finally, in El Salvador, a framework agreement was signed with the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) that will allow both parties to collaborate to promote its decarbonization. Thanks to the cooperation, an acceleration of national plans to promote the financing of clean energy projects is expected.   These have been some of the news this month in Enerland.
