In 2012, Enerland established its first subsidiary in Mexico, through which it began developing several projects, including the Ometepec solar plant. It began operating in 2015, connecting 500 kWp of power to the grid, equivalent to the energy required to supply more than 300 Mexican households. This plant prevents the emission of approximately 450 tonnes of CO2 each year.
