We are approaching summer. The holidays. Unlike last year, this time there are fewer restrictions due to the pandemic. We hope you are all planning a dream weekend, week or month away. Here, at Enerland, we continue working actively, not only in Spain but also in the other countries where we operate. Would you like to know the news from June 2021? This month we bought a gift that our colleagues loved.
Events
Every 5 June, World Environment Day is celebrated, a date that seeks to connect people with nature and with new ways of exploring and coexisting with their surroundings. At Enerland Group we are fully committed to preserving the environment. All this is possible thanks to the work and commitment of our colleagues in the Environment Department, who work to ensure that all our photovoltaic projects are located in sites that do not destroy the ecosystem. Therefore, we have decided to support the eco-social social and labour inclusion project of Gardeniers, Atades. We have given our employees a small piece of nature that, from now on, will accompany them every day.
June 2021 News
There have been several updates this month. Our Operation and Maintenance colleagues in Enerland Group gathered to take the Basic Occupational Risk Prevention Course. It was delivered by Javier Naya Zavala from MAS PREVENCIÓN - Prevention Service. The session lasted 3 hours and covered regulations, risks, safety and other essential knowledge that a photovoltaic systems installer must have. In addition, our colleague Eduardo A. Rodríguez Cando, Enerland's Project Director, shared his opinion with us about renewable hydrogen. "We approach the development of this technology with optimism. Our commitment and leading role in photovoltaic energy production will be key to reducing the cost of renewable hydrogen generation and making an emission-free future a reality. Definitely a key ally for solar energy." It is always a pleasure when our experts shed some light on technology that is still under development.
Italy
In Italy, on 29 June, our colleagues from Enerland Italia took part in the meeting of Coldiretti Sardinia. During it, the concept of agrivoltaic energy and our strategies were presented from a technical perspective. Lastly, the positive social impact it will have on Italian territory was explained. The aim: to bring the association and local farmers closer to the energy transition revolution by resolving any doubts on the matter and always providing tailored solutions for every need. From Enerland Group we would like to congratulate our colleagues on the success of their presentation.
