Enerland connects El Salvador's first photovoltaic park. After months of execution, we present the Grupo Arquero Solar Project.
Enerland arrives in Central America with major projects in its portfolio and an ambitious expansion plan. Today we present our first milestone in the country: thethe Spanish company connects El Salvador's first photovoltaic plant. This park will be the first ground-mounted installation and will feature a horizontal single-axis tracker structure.
After several months of execution, on 10 March, the Grupo solar project Arquero its commissioning began. Since then, the photovoltaic plant has connected 1,438.2 kWp to the electricity grid.
2015 is shaping up to be a great year for Enerland. After creating its first subsidiary in El Salvador, the company has been awarded 6 more turnkey projects. Throughout this financial year, all of them will be connected and generating sustainable energy for the power grid. We celebrate these achievements and hope to continue working for the development of the country's energy transition.
Enerland in Central America.
The Spanish company is firmly established in Central America. It was in 2012 that Enerland decided to commit to this market. After years of operating and successfully delivering photovoltaic plants in Mexico, this year it decided to create its new subsidiary in El Salvador. Since then, the company has positioned itself as a leader in photovoltaic generation plants in the country, with more than 80% market share.
Looking to the future, by the end of 2015 Enerland will have 7 photovoltaic plants in operation in El Salvador and a total of 9 in Central America. We hope to continue growing across the continent and contributing to the development of solar renewable energy worldwide.
We work for the future and for a sustainable way of life.
