Today, we are announcing our new photovoltaic project in Tunisia: the Sidi Bouzid solar park. Our proposal was the winner in the second round of the tender published by the Ministry of Energy of Tunisia.
The new PV project located in Tunisia will cover 20 hectares of land, on which more than 22,600 photovoltaic modules will be installed, and it is expected to generate 10 MWp.
In line with our international expansion plan, Sidi Bouzid will become our first project carried out on the African continent. With this, there will now be the 4 continents where we are present.
The North African region is undergoing strong expansion. The growth of the industrial and construction sectors, together with population growth, has led to a considerable increase in energy demand.
Tunisia is one of the North African countries most committed to the energy transition and to renewable energy generation. Given the country's determination to invest in its solar resources, we are proud to be part of the the objective of reaching 4.7 GW of capacity of clean energy before 2030.
Located in the geographical area of Sidi Bouzid, this project is in a strategic location for photovoltaic solar energy production. On the one hand, it lies in an area that receives high levels of solar radiation. On the other, it offers ample space for carrying out the installations without harming the surrounding environment.

An ambitious project, and one we are very proud to be part of. More and more countries are taking the initiative, shifting their energy model towards a much greener one.
With an investment of more than 10.7 billion dollars and clearly defined objectives, we are pleased to share this news that brings so many changes. We look forward to seeing how the project progresses!
