More than 130 Enerland Group employees gathered in Zaragoza last week to celebrate the company’s traditional Christmas lunch. The event gave them the opportunity to learn about the year’s most important milestones and enjoy a special day with the rest of the team.
As has become customary, our office and site staff in Spain gathered last week in Zaragoza, the home city of Enerland Group, to celebrate the festive season and close the year together. Thanks to the joint effort made in 2024, and the successes achieved, the team enjoyed a special event at La Casa de las Hiedras, located in the the iconic Cachirulo restaurant.
After a welcome drink, the celebration began with contributions from three employees who shared key information, results and experiences from this cycle. Jorge Ara, from Business Development, gave a brief explanation of PPA contracts and why they matter. Following this presentation, Cristina Lambán offered a summary of the year with the main figures. Finally, Tomás Alarcón, Enerland Site Manager, addressed the team with a speech dedicated to the construction crew, which received warm applause and affection from everyone present. Thanks to their extraordinary work, in 2024 we completed our largest project to date.
Afterwards, staff were able to enjoy a cocktail reception and a meal in the estate’s function rooms, followed by a party where sales staff, engineers, site personnel, central services staff and managers took the opportunity to talk and get to know their colleagues. A wonderful Christmas gift that serves as the perfect ending to a year of effort and growth.
Enerland takes part in the ESIC Corporate Race 2024
On Sunday 15 December, Enerland Group joined the Corporate Race organised by ESIC, in which more than 5,000 runners took part in 2024. A total of five teams, made up of colleagues from different departments, covered the 8-kilometre route through central Zaragoza until crossing the finish line together. A joint effort with which they overcame the cold December morning, once again demonstrating that Enerland Group stands for energy, commitment and dedication. Congratulations to all our athletes on completing this year's race!
