We held the 2nd Enerland Padel Tournament. The event brought together employees from different departments, who demonstrated their skill on the court and a strong sense of teamwork.
In an atmosphere full of energy, competition and camaraderie, the eagerly awaited 2nd Enerland Padel Tournament was held. At the company, we always encourage our employees to take part in this kind of event, where fun and competitiveness help build strong interdepartmental bonds.
This event, as last year, consists of bringing together the different people who are part of our Enerland headquarters in Spain, and in this edition, we also had the participation of some colleagues from Italy. By forming pairs according to level in this sport, a league is organised in which everyone plays against everyone else.
The tournament
Our employees from the head offices in Zaragoza and Madrid, as well as some colleagues from Italy, gathered on Saturday 20 May at the Club de Pádel Zaragoza facilities. There, the different pairs taking part played a range of matches over more than 2 hours.
With 30 participants, the level of competition was exceptional, with closely fought matches and spectacular plays. Passion and sporting spirit were present in every match, creating an atmosphere of respect and friendship among all colleagues. After the two phases of the tournament had concluded, the pair formed by Víctor Ruíz and Samuel Rodrigo, from the wind and environment department, were the winners of the Gold category. Meanwhile, Juan Lázaro, from developments, together with Ángel Guerrero, from EPC, were the winners of the Silver category.
Team spirit, effort and competitiveness were the values fostered during this sporting event, which concluded with a celebratory barbecue. Once again, the Enerland&Monticell team showed that, through teamwork and collaboration, we can achieve any goal we set ourselves.
