Enerland Group attends Future Energy Summit 2023, an event that brings together leaders from Colombia's energy sector.
Last week, on 24 and 25 October, the Future Energy Summit 2023 (#FES2023). It brought together more than 5,000 in-person attendees at the JW Marriot hotel in Bogotá, Colombia. The event featured more than 300 speakers. During the event, the energy transition in Latin America and Europe was presented by leaders from the energy sector and the country's main public and private sector stakeholders.
Ultimately, the sector is growing at an extraordinary pace, and projects totalling 900 MW of capacity to be installed in the region have already been approved. With such a significant volume approaching for 2024, work is expected not only with panels and trackers; there are also strong expectations that batteries will begin to be implemented in new projects.
From Enerland Group, our colleagues José Alfambra, Area Manager LATAM & Spain, Óscar Berrío, country manager of Enerland Group Colombia, and Carolina Sandoval, the country's commercial manager, attended this meeting to build synergies with different industry professionals. "This event not only allowed us to get up to date with the current energy market in our country, it also enabled us to forge new partnerships with suppliers who will help us in our upcoming projects. We hope to return next year," says Carolina.

In addition, in 2023 the following have been commissioned two new photovoltaic parks in the country: the Canal del Dique plant has been joined by La Tolúa (26.19 MW) and Tierra Linda (12.71 MW), which have been supplying clean energy to the region since April. Including both plants, Enerland Group has now exceeded 100 MWp built in Latin America.
