The team from Enerland Group's Zaragoza office visited the Tellus and Mitra PV plants last Friday. There, the employees were able to learn about the status and operation of the photovoltaic works.
Bringing a renewable project to fruition is a complex task, a long journey involving the collaboration of hundreds of employees. At Enerland Group, this work can pass through stages as varied as development, engineering, construction and maintenance, and can continue for years. That is why, every day, our colleagues also work from the office to turn our photovoltaic plants and facilities into a reality. Colleagues in administration, legal, IT, logistics and procurement, along with engineers, technicians and specialists of many kinds, drive projects forward by coordinating and providing the essential information and resources for each site.

On 23 August, part of our head office team in Zaragoza had the opportunity to see first-hand the results of all those efforts spent in front of computer screens and on the phone. The outing allowed employees to observe on site how photovoltaic plants operate, as well as the progress made at the Tellus and Mitra parks currently under construction, each with a capacity of 6.4 MWp. During the visit, which was split into two groups for greater safety, our colleagues were able to clear up questions and learn more about the engineering and construction process. Daniel Gallizo, project manager, and Andrés Arcos, site manager, guided the teams throughout the tour. José Alfambra, Enerland's area manager in Spain and Latam, took part in the explanations for the administration team, providing further details on how the plants operate.
About the parks
The two photovoltaic plants, located in the province of Zaragoza and developed by Enerland, began construction last spring, as we announced at the time. The works have so far generated approximately 85 direct jobs and more than 150 indirect jobs in the area. Together, the two parks cover more than 20 hectares in total: Tellus has 10 ha, compared with Mitra's 12 ha. Between them, once commissioned, they will have a combined installed capacity of 12.8 MWp and generate more than 24,000 MWh of green energy annually, which will be added to the rest of Enerland Group's portfolio in Spain.
