Enerland Group attends the 10th UNEF Solar Forum (Spanish Photovoltaic Union), the leading event for the country's photovoltaic solar sector. This year, the gathering, held on 4 and 5 October in Madrid, marked its tenth anniversary by breaking attendance records.

The two days of the Solar Forum were attended by more than 1,200 professionals and over 70 speakers, including executives from numerous industry companies, political figures and representatives of various institutions. The record figures reinforced the idea that the photovoltaic sector has become an established, reliable choice for decarbonising the economy and for the future of energy.

In addition to celebrating the improvements and development of the industry, the Forum also brought to the table both the challenges and the main issues still pending incorporation into sector activity. In this way, social participation, the circular economy, self-consumption and energy communities are expected to shape the objectives of the next Solar Forum.

Our experience at the 10th Solar Forum

Representing the company at this event were Enerland Group CEO Manuel Balet and part of our Development Department. Daisy Rodríguez, Head of Environment, highlighted the work of the speakers: "They reviewed the strong momentum currently being experienced by the renewable energy sector, but they also addressed the obstacles faced by developers, investors and suppliers, such as lengthy administrative procedures, the lack of planning for upcoming auctions, which is holding back the development of new projects, and uncertainty surrounding financial models."

As we have already noted, the photovoltaic sector is constantly evolving, so the training of all professionals involved in it must be continuous. At Enerland Group, we recognise the value of this learning process through events such as Foro Solar, which allow us to optimise the development of our activity.
