Enerland Group attends the conference “Sustainability and Society: a perfect pairing”, organised by the Spanish Confederation of Business Organisations of Aragon (CEOE Aragón).

On 27 September, Enerland Group attended this event, which brought together a range of stakeholders from the business world. The programme, held in collaboration with Fundación Sesé, featured two panel discussions in which business leaders from different sectors shared their experiences of sustainable social action. After a welcome from the Vice-President of CEOE Aragón, José Ángel Subirá, and the Director-General for SMEs and the Self-Employed of the Government of Aragon, Ana Sanz Campos, the first part of the event began, entitled "How corporate sustainability affects society".

During this first session, the need to promote sustainability strategically and across all company departments was highlighted, setting measurable and realistic objectives to deliver the proposed actions. One of the panel’s unanimous conclusions was the importance of cooperation and teamwork to ensure the plan is shared by all employees.

The second panel focused on business experiences. It included reflections on training and the obligation to adapt in order to achieve social responsibility objectives. Likewise, emphasis was placed on the importance of achievements and recognition in demonstrating companies' progress and improvement, as well as the efforts made throughout each cycle.
