Enerland Group, a Spanish multinational headquartered in Zaragoza (Spain), completed the construction of three photovoltaic plants in Portugal during 2023. The PFV Soure, with a capacity of 23 MWp and located in Soure, Coimbra, has recently been connected to the grid and is expected to produce 35,150 MWh of 100% renewable energy. This is equivalent to supplying 7,703 Portuguese households and avoiding 12,865 tonnes of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere each year.

Located on an area of 30 hectares, the photovoltaic plant involved the installation of more than 38,808 photovoltaic panels. According to the project's economic figures, 78 professionals from local companies were hired in order to support the area's social development.

"The Enerland Portugal team has made an exceptional contribution to completing the projects within the estimated deadlines while maintaining the highest levels of quality. The enthusiasm and dedication of the whole team have paid off, and we are eager to see the next projects we will deliver in the country," Joao Figueiredo, Country Manager.
