This month, Enerland is collaborating with the Zaragoza Food Bank. In doing so, we are launching a new charitable initiative for World Food Day, which was held on 16 October.
On 29 October, Enerland worked with the Zaragoza Food Bank. This initiative stems from World Food Day, which originated with the aim of promoting balanced meals, but also of ending hunger worldwide.
During the pandemic, thousands of people found themselves in a vulnerable situation. That is why at Enerland we wanted to do our bit to help our community. Together with the Zaragoza Food Bank, we launched the campaign “For a Future Without Hunger”. The collection lasted 11 days, during which our colleagues contributed by donating a large quantity of food that we hope will help those most in need.
Our aim is for this initiative not to remain a one-off action, we want all employees to take an active part every year. Not only because of the pandemic, but also because of all the other people who have always been in vulnerable situations.
On this occasion, the collection was a complete success and we could not be happier with the participation of our colleagues in Zaragoza, Spain. We would like to thank the Zaragoza Food Bank for helping with the organisation, and we hope to work together again on future donations.
