On 24 November, our Commercial Director, Mario Baz, attended the International Sella Forum Conference, 'Industry, Data and Energy', held in Villanueva de Gállego. During the event, Spain's energy situation was analysed, with particular emphasis on the role of Aragon in this area.

Foro Sella and the Industry and Energy Forum organised the meeting, which had the support of CEOE, the Aragon Energy Cluster and the University of Zaragoza. Throughout Friday morning, various political figures and sector specialists shared views, progress and challenges relating to energy management, the ecological transition, and the role of industry in that change, both within and beyond the Aragon region. Speakers included the President of the Government of Aragon, Jorge Azcón, who opened the Sella Forum International Conference. This was followed by various debate panels and sessions on energy trends. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares, closed the event.

Mario Baz, Commercial Director of Enerland Group, attended the event to learn first-hand about the latest developments and challenges currently faced by the different stakeholders in the energy sector in which the company operates. Highlighting the excellent work of the Industry and Energy Forum once again: "Another magnificent day at the Industry and Energy Forum! All the speakers highlighted Aragón's momentum as a strategic location with maximum competitiveness in energy terms, enabling the new data centre industry to establish itself in the region. At Enerland, we already have agreements with some of the leading companies in this segment, supplying both physical and virtual PPAs and improving their sustainability goals," Mario Baz told us.
