Energyear ’22 Colombia with our colleagues from the subsidiary.

The most significant event in the renewable energy sector is organised annually in different countries around the world. At Enerland Group, we have already attended the editions held in Madrid and Lisbon, it was time to take part in Energyear ’22 Colombia. Being present at this type of event helps us stay up to date with the latest technological, commercial and legal developments in the sector. In this way, we can offer our clients the latest and most advanced developments in sustainable energy solutions.

Energyear Andina was the fifth edition of the leading congress in the Colombian energy market. Its objective: to continue along the path towards consolidating the country's energy transition by providing a space for networking ideal for all players of the industry. In this way, suppliers, clients and prospective partners come together at the event to discuss the country’s new challenges and the opportunities that will make Colombia a regional benchmark in renewables.

More than sixty expert speakers discussed market trends and technological advances. They were joined by more than 400 attendees, including Óscar Berrio and Hernando Restrepo, Country Manager and Commercial Manager respectively, of Enerland Group in Colombia.

The event held in the city of Medellín on 12 and 13 June was a complete success.

Enerland Group in Colombia

In 2017, we began operating in Colombia, where we also opened a new subsidiary that same year. Since then, we have been working on various large-scale photovoltaic park development projects.

Our largest project completed in the country to date was the Photovoltaic Park Canal del Dique (5 MW) for Surtigas, whose construction was completed in 2021. We are currently in the construction phase of two new projects in the Colombian region: La Tolúa and Tierra Linda.
