Enerland renews the award of the RSA Seal and obtains the RSA+ awarded through the Instituto Aragonés de Fomento and Aragón Empresa. For the second year, the company has received this recognition and, for the first time, has achieved the plus category.
The RSA seal (Aragonese Social Responsibility) recognises the company's commitment to society and the environment, as well as to other key aspects such as supporting our employees' work-life balance, promoting equality within our workforce, volunteering and social collaboration initiatives, commitment to the SDGs and the promotion of culture in Aragon, where our head office in Spain is located.
The RSA+ seal, meanwhile, aims to encourage organisations that hold the previous seal to deepen key aspects of Corporate Social Responsibility. Specifically, it places emphasis on:
-Work-life balance, in line with the guidelines promoted by the Directorate-General for Equality and Family.
-Equality, applying the principles of non-discrimination and promoting equal opportunities for everyone.
-Volunteering and social action that promote collaboration between companies and foundations, encouraging opportunities for cooperation.
-Promotion of culture through engagement with the advancement of the local area.
-Commitment to the SDGs, with which Enerland is involved through the development of actions that help achieve 16 of the 17 goals.
Business Excellence Award in Aragon
In addition to the Aragón Social Responsibility seals, this year we have also been nominated as finalists to win the Business Excellence Award. This award is recognition of the excellence of the organisations that form part of the Autonomous Community of Aragon. It pursues the following objectives:
-Showcase and raise awareness of the level of excellence of organisations in Aragon.
-Serve as a tool for sharing business best practice.
-Support companies in improving their business management through understanding and implementing the EFQM Business Excellence Model, which helps organisations establish a management system, measure where they are on the path to excellence, and analyse improvement opportunities that will help them achieve it.
