The Sonsonate solar facility in El Salvador covers an area of 17 hectares of land and consists of 38,460 modules with a fixed structure of solar panels supplying 13.95 MW of peak power to the national grid. This solar facility generates an average of 29,295 MWh of energy a year, which is equivalent to the electricity needed to supply more than 9,700 homes in this Central American country.
