Enerland Group has obtained the first environmental license granted by the National Environmental Licensing Authority (ANLA) under the Solar Environmental Permit with Optimized Design (LASolar) mechanism for the DSE Neiva Solar Plant, located in the department of Huila.<\/h2>\n

With an installed capacity 24.9 MWp, this initiative represents a decisive step toward strengthening renewable energy generation in the region, while cementing Colombia’s position as a leader in efficient and rigorous environmental licensing processes. The approval of this license, issued in record time<\/a>, makes the project the first photovoltaic project in the country to receive this endorsement under the LASolar framework, designed to streamline the evaluation of clean energy projects without compromising environmental, technical, or social standards.<\/p>\n

A strategic project that is part of a joint initiative<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

DSE Neiva Solar Plant is part of a larger initiative that includes the development of DSE Neiva Sur Solar Plant. Both projects are located adjacent to one another and are conceived as a single, integrated initiative from both a technical and economic standpoint. This joint implementation makes it possible to optimize shared infrastructure, reduce costs and maximize the positive impact in the region. For this reason, both projects have been designed to proceed in a coordinated manner and on a similar timeline, ensuring the technical, regulatory and financial viability of the investment as a whole.<\/p>\n

Institutional collaboration and support for the region<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

Obtaining this license is the result of a joint effort between various public entities, local communities and Enerland Group’s team. The company would like to express its gratitude to the Neiva Municipal Planning Office, the Mining and Energy Planning Unit (UPME), the Government of Huila and all the institutions that have contributed with their respective competencies to the progress of this strategic project for the region.<\/p>\n

Enerland Group recognizes and appreciates the openness to dialogue, institutional support and willingness to cooperate that it has encountered throughout the development of this initiative – factors that are making it possible to bring to fruition an investment aimed at strengthening the department’s energy infrastructure.<\/p>\n

The company plans to begin construction works in the first quarter of 2027, generating economic activity and local employment opportunities throughout each phase of the project. Similarly, Enerland Group would like extend special thanks to the communities in the project’s area of influence for their cooperation, participation and openness toward the project.
