In 2008, Enerland undertook an ambitious renewable energy project in the municipality of Vinaceite: to build the biggest solar facility in Aragon and one of the biggest in Spain. This photovoltaic plant covers an area of more than 60 hectares of land located in the province of Teruel and generates an average of over 14,700 MWh of power a year, equivalent to the electricity consumed by around 5,000 Spanish homes.
